Discover Houston tours is owned and operated by Phil Stewart, a certified professional tour guide and a native Houstonian. Phil has conducted thousands of tours of Houston, NASA, Galveston, Houston neighborhoods, the Texas Medical Center, Houston’s great universities, and the San Jacinto Battleground. A historian, Phil is past President of the Professional tour Guide Association – currently servd on its board of directors. Phil oversees certification of new tour guides for the organization.

Discover Houston Tours was founded in 1988 by Sandra Lord. Sandra was one of the founders of the Professional Tour Guide Association of Houston and served as one of the organizations first president. Discover Houston a Tours pioneered walking tours of Houston.
